Courses Built by a Teacher

I've taught in public school classrooms for 17 years, and that taught me the difference between content people click through and learning that actually sticks. I design high-quality courses around what learners need to walk away able to do, then use AI to build them faster without cutting the parts that make them work.

For individuals turning their expertise into a course, companies building training for their people, and EdTech teams that need courses designed right. Whatever platform it lives on, I design for the learners, not the software.

What I Build

Learning Objectives & Course Architecture

Start from what learners need to be able to do by the end, then work backward into modules, sequencing, and pacing that get them there.

Assessments & Feedback

Quizzes, written reflections, and rubrics that actually show whether an objective was met, including AI-reviewed written assignments that give every learner personalized feedback.

Any Platform

The design comes first and isn't tied to any one tool. I can build directly inside the platform your course lives on and automate the repetitive setup work, so the effort goes into the learning, not the clicking.

Course Media

AI-generated presenter video from a script, so lessons can be updated when the wording changes instead of reshot.

How I Approach It

  1. 1.Define what learners should be able to do when they finish.
  2. 2.Decide how they'll show it, before writing any content.
  3. 3.Build the lessons and activities that get them there.
  4. 4.Use AI to speed up the build, not to replace the teaching judgment.

Course Work So Far

LearnWorlds Course Build

Built a 34-module, 4-pillar certification course inside LearnWorlds through MCP-driven browser automation, so every section, quiz, and reorder was created by directly scripting the live admin UI (nested iframes, raw HTML via CodeMirror, simulated drag-and-drop). Root-caused and fixed a platform rendering bug invisible in the editor but blank for real students. Currently layering in LearnWorlds' AI Reviewed Text Assignment feature, automated, personalized feedback on every student's written reflections.

AI-Generated Video — LearnWorlds Course

An AI-generated presenter video for the LearnWorlds certification course, built with Synthesia: hand it a script, get back a fully rendered avatar-led video, no camera, no studio, no reshoot when the wording changes.

Why a Teacher

Seventeen years teaching math, PE, and health, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and Anthropic's AI Fluency for Educators certification. Plenty of people can put content into a course platform. The hard part is knowing whether anyone actually learned anything, and that's the part a classroom teaches you.
